Nellai Bharathi a veteran film journalist, writer and poet passed away at his residence this morning due to a prolonged illness sending the Kollywood fraternity into grief. The body was kept at his residence in Porur where a number of family and friends paid their last respects.
Vijay Sethupathi in spite of the coronavirus lockdown rushed to Nellai Bharathi's house and not only consoled his wife and sons but also helped them with money to take care of the funeral expenses. This gesture by the Makkal Selvan won many more hearts for him always being there for his old friends and how he even risked his health to pay his respects.
